....Né en 1643, au seuil du règne de Louis XIV, Trudon est le plus ancien cirier en activité au monde. Au cours du XVIIe siècle, la manufacture devient Manufacture Royale de Cire et fournisseur attitré de la Cour de France et de Napoléon Ier. Dans ses ateliers nichés en Normandie, chaque bougie est coulée et façonnée à la main. Une fabrication luxueuse qui perpétue le savoir-faire de son fondateur Claude Trudon et qui fait qu’aujourd’hui les bougies Trudon sont plébiscitées dans le monde entier. ..Founded in 1643, on the threshold of the reign of Louis XIV, Trudon is the oldest Candlemaker in the world still active today. Throughout the 17th century, the manufacturer became the Royal Wax Manufacturer and official supplier in the French court, then to Napoléon Bonaparte. Each candle is still dripped and made by hand in its factory in Normandy, a luxury manufacturing which helps perpetuating the skills of its fonder, Claude Trudon. ....
